This year, we’re kicking off recipes with a tasty cocktail to help you celebrate Super Bowl Sunday! The Tequila Touchdown is quick and easy – just 5 minutes from start to finish. It lacks much tartness in flavor, but that ingredient may be optional if preferred—though not for the cocktails sake though.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup tequila
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tbsp grenadine optional
  • 3/4 cup club soda
  • 2 strips lemon zest for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a glass pitcher, pour in the orange juice, tequila and lemon juice. 
  2. Optional: slightly tip the pitcher at an angle and slowly pour grenadine down the side for a more Tequila Sunrise look/taste! 
  3. Pour into two glasses and top each off with club soda. 
  4. Stir, garnish and enjoy!

The Tequila Touchdown is perfect for sipping on while you watch the Super Bowl, but it’s also a versatile drink to keep around in spring and summer.

It’s safe to say that the Super Bowl is one of America’s favorite events.
