Where Can I Buy Lemon-Lime Kool-Aid?

Great question! And in case you’ve had a tough time locating it, you aren’t alone.

However, I discovered them on Amazon in a big box that is definitely cool in case you plan to make a number of these. You can order them here (or click on the photo below).

If that doesn’t work, you could try using the Green Apple Flavor even though it will change the flavor a little differently. You can order them here.

Things to Note:

  • You can use a pre-made Kool-Aid mix from a bottle if you want to take a shortcut and just add the red sugar to the cups just before pouring the drink.
  • Don’t add the red sanding sugar too early, if it gets wet it will cause the sugar to dissolve and melt.
  • You can rub the rim of your glass lightly with corn syrup before dipping in the sugar if you have that on hand.
  • This drink is good for a few days in the refrigerator exception of the Sprite, we would suggest adding that right before drinking so it doesn’t get flat or lose the carbonation, we all love.
  • The red sugar will turn your lips a nice shade of red so be aware of that.

Directions: Just mix all ingredients together in a punch bowl. Add ginger ale until the grinchy grinch punch tastes just right to you, then enjoy! You can also adjust the amounts of each ingredient to make a smaller or larger batch.

If you’re looking for a kid-friendly grinchy grinch punch, just leave out the vodka and add more ginger ale (or sprite). The kids will love it! And don’t forget to put on your ugliest sweater – it’s grinch party time!
