It’s day four of our twelve days of holiday cocktails series! Today, we’re going to make a blue curacao liqueur cocktail called Jack Frost. It has blue curacao liqueur, pineapple juice, light rum, and cream of coconut. This is a fun drink for the kids – or adults if you want to pretend it’s Christmas morning.
The holidays are a time for family, friends, fun, and of course, cocktails! Today we’re featuring a festive drink perfect for Jack Frost himself: the Jack frost. Here’s how to make it:
Ingredients:
– blue curacao liqueur
– pineapple juice
– light rum
– cream of coconut
Recipe:
1 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup Blue Curacao liquor
1/2 cup light rum
1/2 cup cream of coconut
Rim of Glass
INSTRUCTIONS
- Pour a small layer of corn syrup onto a shallow plate. Place the flaking coconut in another small dish.
- Dip the cocktail glasses into the light corn syrup, then in coconut flakes.
- In a shaker filled with crushed ice, combine pineapple juice, Blue Curacao liqueur, rum, and cream of coconut.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared cocktail glasses. Serve immediately.
This drink is such a fun color blue, it was one of our favorites when picking our 12-holiday cocktails to feature.
Tip:
You can substitute light rum for vodka or if you really love coconut swap light rum for Malibu rum. We may try it with Malibu next time.
