The perfect drink for a hot summer day, the Southern Comfort cocktail is one of my all-time favorite drinks. And when you need something to cool down and wind up your taste buds at once? The Scarlett O’Hara has got it goin’ on!
This is the perfect drink for when you’re having a get together with friends, whether it be at home or out in public. Not only does this drink have an amazing taste that will keep everyone coming back for more but what’s even better? It only takes minutes to make! All we really need are some simple ingredients like ice and Cranberry juice, plus maybe something extra if desired – for your garnish.
Named for the leading lady in the famous southern film, Gone With the Wind, The Scarlett O’Hara is a beautiful red cocktail that has been popular for decades. The drink was introduced shortly after the film’s release in 1940 and has been a southern staple ever since. In fact, it was this drink that made Southern Comfort famous!
What You’ll Need to Make The Scarlett O’Hara:
- Southern Comfort
- Cranberry juice
- Lime juice
- Lime sparkling mineral water
- Ice
- Lime wedges

- 1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 3 oz Cranberry Juice
- Splash of soda Water
Instructions
In a Collins glass filled with ice add ingredients and stir well. Garnish with a lime wedge.
