The tequila mule is the perfect drink to enjoy on a warm spring day, and it’s surprisingly easy to make. Simply combine ginger beer, tequila, and fresh lime juice in a glass over ice. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can also add a slice of jalapeno for a little extra kick. Ingredients
- 2 ounces tequila
- 1/2 lime juiced
- 5 ounces ginger beer (or ginger ale)
- jalapenos sliced for garnish
- lime wedges sliced for garnish
Instructions
- For each drink, measure the tequila and pour into the glass over ice.
- Add the juice of 1/2 lime and a dash of hot sauce. Top off with ginger beer, approximately 5 ounces depending on the size of the glass.
- Garnish with sliced jalapenos and lime wedges as desired.
