The Hemingway Daiquiri is not your average, everyday cocktail. It has a pink hue and fruity flavor that looks like something you would find in an alcohol lightweight but don’t let the cosmetics fool ya – this refreshing drink packs quite the punch.

Hemingway daiquiris have a long and interesting history that dates back to when one of the least-girly authors in literature was inspired by these delicious drinks. You’ll want to try it once you read about how great they taste!

What’s not to love about a delicious, sweet and refreshing drink that takes you back in time? This is the perfect recipe for those warm summer days. The Hemingway Daiquiri has an extra something special thanks to its inclusion of two favorite ingredients: grapefruit juice and maraschino liqueur!

Ingredients

2 ounces white rum

3/4 ounce lime juice

1/2 ounce grapefruit juice

1/2 ounce maraschino liqueur

1/2 ounce simple syrup

1 lime wheel for garnish

ice cubes

Instructions

Pour white rum, maraschino liqueur, lime juice and grapefruit juice into a shaker.

Add ice and shake vigorously until ingredients are mixed and chilled.

Strain into a coupe glass.

Garnish with lime wheel.

Notes

We recommend slicing the lime wheel before you squeeze the lime.

You can use a martini glass if you don’t have a coupe glass.
