The Lynchburg Lemonade is a unique cocktail with an interesting history. Created in 1980 by Tony Mason, the drink soon came under legal scrutiny after being marketed as having been created back during Prohibition when alcohol was illegal – though this turns out not to be true at all! In fact, it appears that Jack Daniels themselves were behind some court proceedings against their competitor’s product due solely because they thought there might still be customers left who wanted “pre-prohibition cocktails.” In a lawsuit, the judge awarded Mason only one dollar from his own pocket as damages for promoting cocktails. However, this did not stop him because it was clear that people wanted these drinks and so he won another suit which led to their proliferation all over America!
